Caring for families Since 2005

Blue Shield Family General Practice is an accredited teaching practice through RACGP. Full time and part time GP registrars are part of our team.

We aim to provide personalised care with a holistic approach. We have special interests in prevention, herbal and drug interactions, women’s health, and children’s well-being.

We operate on appointment basis Monday to Friday and provide afterhours care if requested. We always prioritise urgent medical cases and try to accommodate our patient’s need to the best of our knowledge and abilities. In our practice a Registered Nurse is employed to triage patients who present by appointment or on walk in basis, facilitating preventative care, provided patient permission is granted. We are located opposite St George hospital Kensington Street Entrance. The Emergency Department is located on Gray Street.

Public parking is available on Derby Street.

Our mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness.
